CamSF on track for completion!

CamSF’s amazing facilities are very nearly finished and on track for completion! Below you can explore images of the Sixth Form Lecture Theatre, the Science labs, our central mezzanine, the ‘Lounge Mound’ in our outdoor social area, and the West Cambourne entrance. We are delighted, the facilities look fantastic and will provide an exceptional learning experience for our sixth formers. Elsewhere, curriculum plans are being finalised and we have recruited a number of highly qualified new teachers to join our existing brilliant team. Work will continue this term to ensure we are fully prepared for our first cohort to join us in September.

We are so excited to welcome our offer holders on 1^st July 2024, and will communicate more details with them over the course of this term.  We will also welcome prospective applicants in Year 10 for 2025 admission on 24^th June (CamVC students) and 25^th June (students from other centres); more details will be communicated closer to the time. Late applicants for the 2024 cycle should contact info@cambournesixthform.org to see if they can be accommodated and request a tour.

We also look forward to welcoming all members of our community to the ‘Grand Opening’ of the Sixth Form, taking place in the evening of 1^st July 2024!

Cambourne Sixth Form (CamSF) will open in September 2024, delivering a wide range of A Level and applied vocational courses to students aged 16 and over from Cambourne and across Cambridgeshire.

We’re delighted to offer specialist teaching staff in every subject, alongside excellent new facilities from our growing campus. Designed to offer a Sixth Form experience that combines the independence young people seek with high-quality pastoral support, CamSF promises our new cohort a unique and exciting opportunity to shape the culture and ethos of a brand new Sixth Form. We are delighted to offer a student experience that blends academic studies with a wealth of experiences beyond the classroom – whether in sport, the arts, life skills, volunteering, mentoring or Duke of Edinburgh, every student is guaranteed to find something in our enrichment offer to suit their aspirations.
